Coworking is a global movement to create innovative, collaborative and community driven workspaces that move beyond traditional work environments. Stop working alone – work for yourself, not by yourself.
Who is it for?
Small businesses, freelancers, and startups looking to transition out of their isolated work environments such as home offices and cafes and into a creative workspace that will push their productivity to the next level.
How does it work?
Like minded people and businesses of all kinds come together in one facility to share resources, create a community and reduce operating costs. Use a space by the hour, day, or month, or anywhere in between, or try many spaces with a coworking Passport or Visa.
Check out this great video brought to you by our friends at Turnstone, Emergent Research, Link Coworking, Mojo Solo and Coco Coworking.
Where do I start?
Take a look at our Find A Space page and see if there are any coworking spaces near you! Each space is unique, and you should arrange for a tour and a trial day at a few different coworking spaces that interest you. The amenities and event programming will vary from space to space, and each community attracts different types of members. Talk to the staff and other members in the space when you visit to see if the community is the right fit for you and your work.
About Coworking Toronto (this site)
Our goal is to make this website an online community hub for both operators and members of coworking spaces in the GTA. The Coworking Toronto site is meant to be a local resource and to help spread the word about coworking. If you openly share your workspace or hold an event to help other businesses grow, we’ll be actively looking for and promoting your centre, in and around our great city. We want to help build better business communities, and to foster collaboration and innovation.
Let us know what you’re up to, and how we can help.
